To register/submit new leads:
- Log in to My Account on magento.com
- Click on "Opportunities" Tab on top of My Account
- Click on "Sales Leads"
- Click "Add New"
- Fill out all relevant/required information.
- Click "Submit"
- Redirected back to "Sales Leads” screen and newly submitted lead displays in grid.
Please note that the Contact Information in the Deal Registration form refers to the merchant (prospect) contact name you are registering the deal for and not to your own contact information.
Using your own name will create a faulty Lead in our system that we can’t use for creating an opportunity.
You can add any relevant instructions /information in the Note to Sales section such as, please contact Partner (you) before contacting the prospect.
The Deal Registration triggers an internal workflow and a new lead gets created in Salesforce that will be routed to the appropriate PSM for qualification. Its very important that you complete the required information accurately to ensure we can approve your deal registration. The Opportunity Identification attribution is granted to the first partner who registers a qualified lead. If your DR is missing critical information and we can’t qualify it based on the information provided, it will be rejected.
If you have an opportunity with an existing customer for additional Magento product, please use the Cross-Sell opportunity types in the Deal Registration. The Current Platform should equal Magento on these opportunities.
We also have Cloud-Conversion Opportunity type that should be used if registering a Lead for existing Magento Commerce OnPremise client who is looking to move to Magento Commerce Cloud. In 2019 Term, this is DR is eligible for Partner Commission if your company is the original Lead Source for the Cloud Conversion opportunity.
